The demilitarization of the ZNPP should be the main result of the work of the IAEA mission – Energoatom
The Zaporizhzhia NPP should be demilitarized and returned to the full control of Ukraine based on the results of the IAEA mission. This was reported by Energoatom in Telegram.
— The staff of Energoatom and Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant support the mission and will make every effort to prevent the Russians from hiding the facts of nuclear terrorism and violations of nuclear safety at the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
Moreover, enough facts of criminal actions of the Russian military have already been recorded, and it will not be possible to hide them, – says the message of Energoatom.
Energoatom emphasizes that, based on the results of the IAEA mission’s visit, the territory of the ZNPP and Energodar should be demilitarized, and Russian troops and equipment should leave the territory of the plant, as well as Rosatom employees.
The Zaporizhzhia NPP should return to the full control of Ukraine.
The IAEA mission led by its head, Raphael Grossi, arrived in Kyiv on August 30, on the eve of the planned visit to the Zaporizhzhіa NPP.
During the meeting with Grossi, Zelenskуy called on the IAEA mission to do everything to avoid a global threat.
The largest nuclear power plant in Europe – ZNPP – has been seized by the Russian military since March 4, who have since been placing military equipment and ammunition on the site of the station, as well as shelling the surrounding territory, exposing the world to a nuclear disaster.
