During the counteroffensive in the South, the Ukrainian defenders achieved a certain tactical surprise.
Such an assumption was made in the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain on September 3, after analyzing the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense notes: the Armed Forces use poor logistics for this, as well as problems with administration and leadership in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
One of the elements of the Ukrainian offensive is the continuous advance of a wide front to the west of the Dnipro River.
The Ukrainian military is concentrating on three directions within the Kherson region temporarily occupied by Russia.

Since, in addition to the South, fighting continues in the Donbass and in the Kharkiv direction, British intelligence officers are certain: in the coming days, the Russian command will face a serious choice.
In particular, the command of the Russian army will have to choose where to send any operational reserve that can be created.
