Schools and medical institutions were attacked: the Russian Federation shelled Mykolaiv, Ochakiv and Voznesensk
On September 4, Russian troops shelled Mykolaiv and two other cities in the region – Ochakiv and Voznesensk.
Updated at 09:13. According to preliminary information, the regional center was subjected to a massive shelling by S-300 missiles around 02:30.
– Three medical institutions, two educational institutions, a hotel, a museum, residential buildings were significantly damaged, – said the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim.
As of this hour, there is no information about the victims.

At 05:01 in Voznesensk, the premises of one of the enterprises caught fire due to shelling.
Residential buildings were also destroyed.
Within an hour, the enemy targeted a civilian infrastructure facility in Ochakiv.

Updated at 08:42. The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkеvіch, said that utility workers and emergency crews are already working at the site of the nighttime shelling.
The mayor of the city specified that, in addition to medical institutions, schools and residential buildings, the occupiers damaged the electricity grid and water supply.

Prior to that, approximately at 02:30, half an hour after the sirens went off, explosions rang out in the regional center as well.
