Residents of Balaklia are asked not to spread information about the military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Residents of the Balaklia community in the Kharkiv region are asked to observe a regime of informational silence and not to disseminate information about military operations before official statements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the Ministry of Defense.

The relevant statement was made public by the Balaklia city council against the background of reports of the liberation of some settlements of the Balaklia community.

Local residents were urged to wait for official confirmation.

– We understand everyone’s emotions now, but let’s try to observe the mode of informational silence. Do not distribute information about military operations until the official statements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the Ministry of Defense are made public. We also ask you not to spread information about the movement of Ukrainian troops, – the statement says.

By the way, the American Institute for the Study of War stated that on Tuesday, September 6, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a counterattack in the Kharkiv region in the Balaklia region and probably drove Russian troops to the left bank of the Siversky Donets and Middle Balakliika rivers.

The institute’s experts assume that Ukrainian forces liberated Verbivka from the occupiers, which is located less than 3 km northwest of Balaklia.
