In the coming days, the USA will announce a new weapon for Ukraine – the Kirby
The White House said that another aid package for Ukraine may be announced in the near future.
This was stated by the coordinator of the National Security Council for strategic communications, John Kirby, during a briefing.
Kirby said he did not want to “preempt future security packages” when he was asked about further aid to Ukraine.
– I think you will see another package in the next few days. We keep up with the Ukrainians, talking to them every day, – Kirby continued.
The White House representative added that “real-time discussions about their military needs” are ongoing with the Ukrainians.
-Many of the systems that we have provided over the past few weeks and a couple of months have proven their effectiveness in the Ukrainians’ ability to go on the offensive and be quite effective in defense over the past few days and weeks,- said a White House representative.
It will be recalled that this week President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recognized the importance of US assistance in the recent Ukrainian counteroffensive.
