Not only in Izyum: at least three more places of mass burials were found in Kharkiv Oblast

In the Kharkiv region, at least three more places of mass burials of citizens who suffered as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation were found.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.

– At least 3 more such places were found in Izyum district, there are also burials in other liberated cities of Kharkiv region. Inspection and demining are currently underway. All the crimes of the occupiers will be documented, and the guilty will pay for what they have done, he wrote.

Synegubov noted that today, September 23, law enforcement officers are completing the exhumation of bodies at the mass burial site near Izyum.

In total, 436 bodies of the dead were exhumed. Most of them have signs of violent death, and 30 have traces of torture.

– There are bodies with ropes around their necks, with tied hands, with broken limbs and gunshot wounds. Several men have amputated genitalia. All this is evidence of the terrible tortures that the occupiers subjected the residents of Izyum to. Most of the bodies are civilians, 21 – military, – said the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

He added that about 200 people (forensic experts, police officers and employees of the State Emergency Service) were involved in the exhumation work every day for a week.

Earlier, police colonel Serhiy Panteleev reported that five children’s bodies were among the exhumed bodies in Izyum.
