EU ambassadors agreed to create a training mission for the Ukrainian military – mass media

The ambassadors of the European Union countries in Brussels agreed on the creation of a military mission to train the Ukrainian military.
Radio Svoboda correspondent Rikard Jozwiak reported this on Twitter.
– EU ambassadors today agreed on the creation of a military mission to help Ukraine with headquarters in Germany and Poland, – he wrote.
According to Jozwiak, the mission should be approved by the ministers of foreign affairs of the European Union on Monday, October 17, and should start operating as soon as possible.

Earlier it became known that the EU plans to conduct training for thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in two years.
In Poland, soldiers will be trained in defense against cyber weapons and weapons of mass destruction, medical skills, air defense and the use of artillery, among other things.
At the training center in Germany, special training units for demining or tactical training are likely to be established.
