Propagandists betray themselves – Humeniuk about the explosion on Antonivskyi Bridge
Ukraine did not strike at night on October 21 at the Antonivskyi bridge connecting Kherson with Oleshky and Hola Prystan on the left bank of the Dnipro.
This was reported by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk on the nationwide telethon Unified News.

– The Ukrainian Defense Forces maintain fire control of Antonivskyi Bridge, but I have repeatedly noted that we do not strike at critical infrastructure, civilian settlements and local population in particular,” Natalia Humeniuk said.
In addition, adds the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, there were no civilians on the bridge at the time of the alleged explosions, although the occupiers were quick to report this.
– You need to be able to filter information. Propagandists give themselves away without tracking the logic of their messages,” says Natalia Humeniuk.
The fact that there could not have been civilians on the bridge at night has been repeatedly confirmed by the occupiers themselves, because at this time the curfew continues in the region, and those who may violate it are subject to very strict measures.
Therefore, this proves that there were no civilians on Antonivskyi Bridge at night on October 21.
In addition, Natalia Humeniuk reminds, the Ukrainian side warned that the Russian invaders would resort to provocations to accuse the Defense Forces of attacks on civilians.
– The invaders are trying to hide their affiliation with the Russian army and make it look like civilians are being shelled. But it is not so.
Everyone knows the fact that they move around the region using looted property and civilian clothes. But often they even forget to cut off the tags from tracksuits,” noted the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.
We remind that, according to the testimonies of people under Russian occupation in Kherson, on the night of October 21, explosions were heard on Antonivskyi Bridge.
Antonivskyi Bridge is a very important transport artery for the occupiers, as it is one of the main logistics hubs between the left and right banks of the Dnipro.
Earlier, Ukrainian defenders were able to destabilize the movement of the occupiers across the Antonivskyi bridge, but the Russians installed a temporary structure made of barges, which makes it possible to cross the bridge in both directions. It is currently unknown whether this barge structure was damaged or another object was hit.
The Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, reported that the occupants built a pontoon crossing over the Dnipro near Antonivskyi bridge in Kherson region and are trying to hide it from Ukrainian artillery, but the Armed Forces successfully flood it.
On October 14, the SBU showed a photo of how during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson region, the occupants left entire weapons warehouses in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka.
