Zaporizhzhya region: SBU detains blogger who worked for Shariy
The Security Service of Ukraine in Zaporizzhya detained a blogger who worked on the Telegram channel of Anatoliy Shariy – a well-known pro-Russian propagandist.
In addition, the blogger from Zaporizzhya passed information to Russians about the consequences of their missile strikes on the city.
He created an online platform where he published photos and videos with his comments and descriptions.
After that, the information was picked up by Russian special services and used to adjust missile and artillery fire.
The propagandist’s videos were also used by Anatoliy Shariy in favor of the Kremlin. They denied Russia’s involvement in the destruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure.
The SBU officers detained the man while trying to publish information in favor of the enemy. He was notified of suspicion. The blogger faces up to 12 years in prison.
To recap, a Russian agent in Zhytomyr region was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
