Minus 740 occupiers and more than 20 units of heavy equipment: losses of the Russian Federation over the past day

Over the past day, on November 9, the Russian army lost about 740 occupiers in the war in Ukraine. Now the total number of liquidated personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is 78,690.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Lyman and Avdiiv directions.

Other losses of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine:

• tanks ‒ 2804 (+3) units,
• armored combat vehicles ‒ 5,682 (+16) units,
• artillery systems – 1805 (+3) units,
• rocket salvo fire systems – 393 units,
• air defense means ‒ 205 units,
• aircraft – 278 units,
• helicopters – 260 units,
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 1499 (+16),
• cruise missiles ‒ 399,
• ships/boats ‒ 16 units,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 4242 (+15)
• units of special equipment ‒ 159.

Earlier, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, Mark Milley, said that during the war in Ukraine, more than 100,000 Russian soldiers were killed and wounded, as well as about 40,000 civilians.
