Police have already detained 166 of 457 prisoners released by Russians from Kherson detention center
The police have already detained 166 prisoners who were released by Russians from the detention center during the escape from Kherson.
This was announced by the Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko during a national telethon.
He noted that the police are working throughout the country to identify and detain the fugitives.
– At the moment, the information about the detention and return to the detention centers of Mykolaiv and Odesa regions of 166 prisoners has been confirmed. The personal files of these prisoners were found on the territory of the Kherson SIZO,” Klymenko said.
It should be noted that during the retreat from Kherson, the Russian occupiers released all prisoners of the pre-trial detention center. Their approximate number is 457 convicts, 15 of them are life prisoners.
All of them served their terms in different colonies and temporarily ended up in the Kherson detention center.
