Russia is preparing for a new wave of missile strikes: will it be an escalation
Russian troops are likely preparing to launch a new wave of missile strikes on Ukraine next week.
This was reported by analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in their report.
According to experts, the Russians’ preparations are not another escalation, because the Russian missile arsenal is quite limited.
Therefore, ISW assumes that the occupiers obviously seek to maintain the pace of recent strikes with a new wave of missile strikes.
To recap, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently warned about a new wave of Russian strikes.
This was also emphasized by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk.
According to her, an additional Russian missile carrier was on duty in the Black Sea the day before, which indicates that Russia is preparing to resume a wave of massive missile strikes over the next week.
