The occupiers do not plan to retreat from the south – the Armed Forces
There are no signs of retreat of the Russian invaders from the southern part of Ukraine.
The spokesman of the press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavri region, Yevhenii Yerin, said this on the air of the national telethon.
According to him, there is currently no movement of the front line in the south, and the situation remains stable.
– The enemy carries out certain movements, redeployment. It is impossible to say that there are 100% signs that someone will retreat. On the contrary, there are signs that the enemy is creating certain groups at certain borders that may pose a threat to Ukrainian troops, – he said.
However, Ukrainian intelligence monitors their movements.
– Yes, there are certain signs that they are moving a little deeper into the territory, preparing their defensive lines not only on the first, but also creating the second and third lines of defense, – the head of the press center said.
He also said that there is a certain movement of enemy forces in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant area.
– According to certain signs, there is a partial withdrawal of the enemy from there. But at the same time, knowing the treachery of the enemy, it is still difficult to talk about any specific actions, – Yerin added.
We will remind, the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, Serhii Khlan, reported that the occupiers were strengthening their positions in the Zaporizhzhia region.
