In Russian captivity, 80% of the military are in a state of anorexia – a former prisoner

In Russian captivity, 80% of Ukrainian soldiers are in a terrible condition, because they are not given time to eat. In addition, the Russians put psychological pressure on the prisoners and use physical force.
Neurosurgeon, former prisoner Dmytro Kubryak told about it. After serving in Mariupol, the man spent a long time in a colony in Olenivka, Donetsk region.
– The main problem in captivity is insufficient nutrition. Therefore, I can truly say that 80% of prisoners are in a state of anorexia, skin and bones. Because the Russians simply did not allow enough time to eat. They give only about two minutes to eat, and the convoy forced them to finish eating – ordered to get up, – he said.
According to him, the occupiers also tried to put psychological pressure on the prisoners.
– Information was constantly voiced, saying where you are going to return to, such a state no longer actually exists, the territory will be divided between other states, nobody needs you there in Ukraine, – said Kubryak.
The doctor also added that the Russians used physical force on the prisoners. In particular, Dmytro said that when they were admitted to the colony, everyone without exception, even the wounded, were beaten with batons after leaving the bus.
– Measures of influence, I am not afraid of this word, torture, were applied to prisoners of war who were considered guilty of some war crimes. These are gunners, snipers, tankers, they were, of course, carefully interrogated and used means of physical influence on them. Electric shock and other forms of torture were used, – he said.
On December 1, as part of another large exchange, Ukraine returned home 50 defenders.
