The Russian occupiers have begun using their Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones to engage ground targets by dropping cluster munitions.
This was announced by the Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
-Recently, the Defense Forces of Ukraine managed to land a Russian Orlan-10 with two VOG cassette hangers on one of the directions using EW means, – the military said.
Pavlyuk does not rule out that the enemy can attack civilian objects in this way.
According to him, the Armed Forces are monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures to protect Ukrainian skies from enemy drones.
Ukrainian intelligence believes that the Russian Federation has about 100 Iranian barrage ammunition of the Shahed type, which are used to strike Ukraine.
