The General Staff expects that the Russian Federation will soon try to capture all of Donetsk region, and then Zaporizhzhia region

In the near future, the Russian troops will try to capture the entire Donetsk region, and then they will try to occupy part of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Brigadier General Oleksiy Gromov, deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, announced this at a briefing.
– It is predicted that in the near future the enemy will try to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk region, and in the future it may intensify its actions to seize the left-bank part of Zaporizhzhia region, – he said.
It is also expected that the occupiers will continue to attack critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine.
According to Gromov, in order to implement its plans to take over Ukraine, Russia announced large-scale measures to reform the armed forces, including increasing the total number to 1.5 million people and forming at least 20 new divisions.
The military believes that these actions of the aggressor indicate the Kremlin’s intentions to engage in a long-term confrontation and preparations for conducting large-scale hostilities.
– The enemy’s main goal remains the seizure of the entire territory of our country and the destruction of Ukraine’s statehood, – added the general.
Earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council stated that the next two to three months will be difficult and decisive, because Russia will go all-in.
