Ukrainian officers will be trained to use the Patriot air defense system in 10 weeks – Reznikov
The training of the Ukrainian military to work with American Patriot air defense systems will last for 10 weeks.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, ArmiyaInform reports.
According to him, today’s successes of Ukraine at the front would not be possible without the help of foreign partners.
– And I believe that one should always be able to say: thank you. Before, we could not even dream that we would be given, for example, Patriot, the cost of which is a billion dollars, and the preparation, which is 10 months, is minimal. Today there is a decision that our officers will be trained in 10 weeks. American partners have undertaken such obligations, – he said.
The Minister of Defense expressed his hope that 2023 will be a victorious year for our country.
– I believe that this year will be a year of victory. We constantly talk about this with our partners, and they believe in our victory together with you. They want to be partners in this victory today, they like this idea, they relish this word – he added.
Earlier in the Pentagon it was reported that the United States will begin training the Ukrainian military to work with the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex at the end of January.
