It remains for Ukraine to unblock the provision of fighter jets and long-range missiles by its partners – Kuleba

Ukraine succeeded in unblocking the provision of almost all types of weapons by its partners, except fighter jets and long-range missiles.
This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba during a panel discussion at the Ukrainian House in Davos.
He noted that it takes time to make decisions on the supply of weapons, but in the end Ukraine gets everything it asks for.
– We get everything we ask for, except for two big things that have not been unlocked in principle – Western fighter jets and long-range missiles. Everything else is unlocked in one way or another, – said the head of the MFA.
According to Kuleba, at the beginning of a full-scale war, almost all conversations with potential supplier countries began with denial, especially when it came to the most sophisticated types of weapons.
As an example, he cited Sweden and its decision to provide Ukraine with Archer self-propelled artillery systems.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs considers the provision of tanks to be another unblocked issue, which required significant diplomatic efforts.
– We see how things are accelerating. When we unlock long-range missiles and aircraft – I am absolutely convinced of this – our list of the most necessary weapons will be completed, – concluded the minister.
It will be recalled that on January 19, the Prime Minister of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, announced his intention to transfer Archer self-propelled artillery installations and 50 Stridsfordon 90 BMPs to Ukraine.
