The EU supports Zelensky’s 10-point peace plan – Michel
The European Union supports the peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This was stated by the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday.
– You want to put an end to this aggressive war, and the EU shares this goal with you. Therefore, we support President Zelensky’s initiative regarding the 10-point peace plan, – he said.
Michel emphasized that the next day at the Ukraine-EU summit, all directions of the EU’s support to Ukraine, both in its courageous resistance to Russia and on its way to the European Union, will be discussed.
We will remind that in November, at the G20 summit, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced 10 conditions necessary for ending the war in Ukraine.
It is about the withdrawal of Russian troops, the release of all prisoners and deportees, radiation and nuclear safety, food security, energy security, etc.
