24 of 24: During a night attack, the Armed Forces destroyed all kamikaze drones launched by the Russian Federation

On the night of January 26, the Russian occupiers resumed attacks on Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones.

According to preliminary data, the enemy used 24 Shahed.

– All 24 were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force in cooperation with air defense units of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, – the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.

The majority of kamikaze drones were destroyed in the center of the country – in the area of responsibility of the Air Command Center.

Attack drones were launched by the occupiers from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.

It is known that on the night of January 26, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with dozens of barrage ammunition.

About 15 enemy UAVs were shot down in the airspace.

– According to preliminary information, there have been no casualties and no hits to infrastructure objects.

Thanks to our air defense forces for another excellent job! – Serhii Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said this morning.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region late in the evening on January 25, units of the Eastern Air Command landed five enemy drones.
