Ukrainian military could have destroyed Russian reconnaissance company near Vuhledar – General Staff
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have probably completely destroyed the reconnaissance company of the Russian occupiers that took part in the assault on Vuhledar in Donetsk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
According to the military command, Ukrainian defenders holding the defense near Vuhledar have inflicted very heavy losses on the occupiers over the past few days.
– According to intelligence, information is circulating among the Russian military about the complete destruction by Ukrainian soldiers of the forces and means of a separate reconnaissance company attached to the 155th separate marine brigade of Russia, which took part in the storming of the city of Vuhledar, Donetsk region,” the statement said.
The General Staff recalled that in November 2022, the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet had already been “kicked in the teeth” near Pavlivka. Therefore, it is not surprising that they will again suffer heavy losses in the same place.
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the situation in Bakhmut, Vuhledar and other areas in Donetsk region remains very difficult due to constant Russian attacks.
