Putin has ordered his army to capture Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March – Main Directorate of Intelligence

A representative of Ukrainian military intelligence, Andriy Chernyak, said that Russian President Volodymyr Putin has given an order to capture the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March, but it is unlikely that the occupiers will succeed.
Andriy Chernyak expressed this opinion in a comment to Kyiv Post.
According to him, the invaders are currently transferring additional units to the east.
– We noticed that the Russian occupying forces are redeploying additional assault groups, units, weapons and military equipment to the east. According to the military intelligence of Ukraine, Putin gave the order to capture the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by March, – said a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Due to the constant failures in Ukraine and the failure to take Kyiv, as foreseen in Putin’s plan, the Kremlin has radically changed and reduced its goal of the war – it wants to gain full control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Previously, analysts of the Institute for the Study of War also reported that the Russian army may launch an offensive against Luhansk region in the coming months.
