Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov believes that there will be no war between Russia and NATO because Russian dictator Vladimir Putin knows he will lose.

He said this on BFM TV.

According to him, the war should be limited to the territory of Ukraine, and not spread to neighboring countries.

– I think that a war between the Russian Federation and NATO is excluded, and I will tell you why. Putin sees how effective NATO’s weapons are, and they are still in limited quantities, so he will lose on the ground, – Reznikov believes.

The minister said that the Russian dictator and his generals are well aware that a war against NATO countries is unsustainable and “Putin will never attack NATO.”

– Putin knows very well that if he really enters into a conflict with the countries of the bloc, he will lose 100%. He presents the war against Ukraine as a war “against the West” and explains that he cannot win because NATO is against them. But in fact, he is fighting only against the Ukrainian army, – the head of the Ministry of Defense stressed.

At the same time, during the interview, Reznikov assured that the danger for NATO is quite real within the framework of the Ukrainian conflict. As evidence, he refers to the conclusions drawn from the results of the bloc’s Madrid summit in June 2022.

– We have clearly identified the threats, and for ten years now Russia has been identified as the main enemy, as a threat to NATO… If Ukraine falls one day, who will be next? The Baltic States, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, which are members of NATO. The Russians are not going to stop themselves, they must be stopped in Ukraine, so as not to spill the blood of other nations, let Ukraine win, – he emphasized.

Also, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov believes that the Russian Federation may launch a new attack on Ukraine around February 24.
