Czech manufacturer of military equipment VOP CZ became a new partner of Ukroboronprom

The state-owned concern Ukroboronprom has agreed to cooperate with the Czech manufacturer of military equipment VOP CZ.

This is stated on the UOP website.

It is noted that the priority is the production, repair and joint development of armored vehicles, as well as the creation of supply chains for parts and products.

– In general, the cooperation involves the production of military equipment, an increase in the production of ammunition of various calibers (both at existing facilities and at newly created ones in safe locations), the development of service hubs for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment, as well as cooperation in the field of high technology, including the creation of joint research centers, the statement said.

Ukroboronprom added that deepening partnership with the Czech Republic in the defense sector will contribute to Ukraine’s further integration into the defense industry of the North Atlantic Alliance. Today, the concern already has a number of cooperation agreements with more than ten NATO member states.

Earlier it was reported that Ukroboronprom has launched serial production of 82-mm mortar rounds abroad at the facilities of one of the NATO member states.
