This is how Rail Force One appeared: Kamyshin tells how Biden traveled to Kyiv and apologized for train delays

The head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Kamyshyn, apologized for the February 21 train delays caused by US President Joe Biden’s visit to Ukraine.
On Twitter, Kamyshyn described Biden’s trip on the train, which he called Rail Force One, as a historic moment.
– “Actually, I don’t remember how we got from Putin’s idea of ‘taking Kyiv in three days’ to President Biden walking through Kyiv with my President Zelensky on the 362nd day of the war,” he wrote on Twitter.
Kamyshin added that it was an honor and a privilege for him and the entire Ukrzaliznytsia team to be involved in this visit.
— Треба сказати, це було складно. Але ми це зробили. Так з’явився Rail Force One, – додав Камишін.
So, it was an honor and a privilege for me and the whole #IronTeam of @Ukrzaliznytsia to deal with this visit. I must say, it was complicated. But we did it. That’s how #RailForceOne appeared. pic.twitter.com/LlXlRpYRNv

The head of UZ noted that in 24 hours, Biden spent 20 hours on the train and only four hours in Kyiv.
– “I also want to apologize for breaking our OTP (on-time performance) yesterday. We had to delay some of our trains to make way for Rail Force One.
It was painful for me and my team, but I had to do it. Therefore, yesterday only 90% of our trains arrived on time. I apologize for that.
On February 20, U.S. President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv for an official visit. The arrival of the American president in Ukraine came as a surprise. From the very morning, Kyiv’s city center was blocked and traffic on some streets was restricted.
