Cherevaty says whether Ukrainian troops are going to withdraw from Bakhmut

The Ukrainian command has not made a decision to withdraw the Defense Forces from Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevaty, in a commentary to CNN.
– “If we see that the threat to our personnel and our operational situation is greater than the need to hold the territory, we withdraw troops, but we do it in an organized manner, without panic,” he said.
He noted that the need for such a decision is assessed by the command.
– “Only the command sees how necessary it is in this situation. And then the appropriate decision is made at a meeting of the Headquarters. I can say that there is no such decision now,” he emphasized.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar said that reinforcements are being sent to Bakhmut, the situation remains tense.
