Russia is stockpiling missiles for a powerful strike – British intelligence
The massive shelling of Ukraine on March 9 after a three-week break shows that Russia needs to accumulate a critical mass of manufactured missiles for a powerful strike.
This conclusion was announced in the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain on March 10.
-This was the first major wave of strikes since February 16, 2023, and probably one of the largest since December 2022, – British intelligence said.
On March 9, in almost seven hours, Russian troops fired 81 missiles of various bases and eight kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type at the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 34 cruise missiles and four drones.
Eight Kh-31P and Kh-59 guided air missiles did not reach their targets.
