I do not think this will happen: Danilov on China’s military support to Russia

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov does not believe that China will provide military support to Russia in its war against Ukraine in the future. At the same time, he noted that if this happens, our country will actually recognize China’s participation in the aggression on Russia’s side.
– I do not think this (China’s military assistance to Russia – Ed.) will happen. If China starts openly supplying weapons to Russia, it will actually participate in the war on the side of the aggressor,” Danilov said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
The NSDC Secretary noted that China now has its own set of internal problems that it must address. In particular, he mentioned the slowdown in economic growth and the slowdown in population growth.
– “That is, they will also face major challenges,” he said.
As a reminder, Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia on March 20-22 at the invitation of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This will be the first time the Chinese leader has visited Russia since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.
