Bakhmut fulfilled its task by 200% – the commander of the 30th brigade of the Armed Forces
The commander of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after of Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky, Colonel Volodymyr Silenko believes that Bakhmut in Donetsk region fulfilled its task by 200%.

According to him, Bakhmut is a political issue for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
– In my opinion, Bakhmut fulfilled its task 200%. This is an outpost, which the Russians are trying to capture using the tactics of an assault group of 10-15 people. From the experience of working in this direction, the occupiers use artillery even against their assault groups when they are stopped by our units, – the colonel said.
At the same time, according to him, one should not underestimate the troops of the Russian Federation, they are trying different tactics.
– If the occupiers are successful, they attack with an assault group and build up, if not – they move to another area, – noted Silenko.
He added that if we talk about the Russian command in general, then these are the generals of the Soviet times. We have mostly young officers and generals who are more creative and have experience of interaction with NATO.
Earlier, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskiу, said that the Russian Federation was losing significant strength at Bakhmut and was running out of steam, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces would soon take advantage of this.
