The Russian Federation storms Bakhmut and fails the offensive towards Avdiivka and Maryinka – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
During the day, the Ukrainian military repelled more than 79 attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv, Maryinsk, and Shakhtarsk areas.
Most of the fighting took place in the direction of Bakhmut.
The enemy does not stop storming Bakhmut.
Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks in the areas of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka and Predtechine settlements of the Donetsk region.
The occupiers failed to attack the settlements of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Pershotravneve, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, located in the Avdiiv, Maryinsk, and Shakhtarsk directions.
The enemy continues to defend itself in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions.
