American 40 Defiant patrol boats are already performing combat missions in Ukraine.
This information was confirmed by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Nataliya Gumenyuk in a comment to ICTV host Vadym Karpiak during the telethon.
– Yes, these boats are quite visible. They can really be observed in service, in particular on the Dnipro, where they perform combat tasks, – Nataliya Gumenyuk noted.
Note that American patrol boats were spotted on the Dnipro the other day.
In particular, footage of a boat patrolling the river appeared online.
We will remind that in June 2022, the US Ministry of Defense announced the delivery of 18 coastal and river boats to Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine were to receive six boats of this class.
