300 m to the front line: eight children still remain in Avdiivka

Despite the proximity of the front line, eight children still remain in Avdiivka, who will probably be forcibly removed with their parents this week.
Vitaliy Barabash, head of the city military administration, announced this on the air of the telethon.
– Not all the children left Avdiivka, although it is literally 300 m from the outer streets to the positions. In fact, the front line in the city. Last week we had five children. Unfortunately, this number did not decrease, on the contrary, it increased. Now there are eight of them, we found three more.
As for the forced evacuation, the mechanism has already been launched. In the near future, I really hope that this week we will forcibly remove the children… We are ready to take responsibility, – the official stressed.
He recalled the recent death of a baby whose parents had previously refused to leave the city.
– The grandmother and the child were burned alive in the house, and the father and mother are now in the hospital with injuries. It’s hard for me to even imagine what’s going on in their heads. But what was the point of proving it? – Barabash added.
According to him, people do not really want to leave the city, not a single resident left the city in January, and about 300 in February-March.
