Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has used about 2,475 long-range missiles worth $12.5 billion and about 2,300 short-range missiles worth $3.5 billion to strike Ukraine.

These estimates were made by Forbes Ukraine based on an analysis of reports from the Ministry of Defense and the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on missile attacks.

Journalists call the missile attacks on Ukraine one of the most expensive missile campaigns in modern history, comparing them to the 2003 bombing of Iraq, when the United States used missiles worth about $1 billion. That’s almost as much as they spent on the 1991 missile attack on Iraq during Operation Desert Storm.

According to estimates, Russia has used a total of about 4,750 missiles of various ranges to bombard Ukraine.

– Due to the shortage of Calibers and X-555/X-101, Moscow is forced to use expensive X-47 Kinzhal, inaccurate X-22s and significantly reduce the intensity of shelling, the publication writes.

Currently, the aggressor country has used up almost all of the Kalibr missiles (56 left) and X555/101 missiles (28), which is probably the reason for the use of more expensive Daggers, although there are no more than 50 of them left.

At the same time, Russia still has thousands of short-range S-300 missiles that can hit at a distance of up to 200 kilometers.

Restoring the missile stockpile is currently problematic, as Russia is capable of producing only about 50 long-range missiles per month, so journalists believe that in the summer it will reduce their use to create a stockpile for the next winter or change its tactics of shelling.
