What task would this solve? Podoliak denies WP’s claims of planning strikes on Moscow

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, denies the intention to strike Moscow, as previously reported by the Washington Post, citing leaked Pentagon materials.
– Once again, we see a strange media sensation… “On the anniversary of the war, Ukraine planned to strike Moscow with everything it had, but its partners refused,” the respected American media conspiratorially report. Of course, without details or logic. And so I have a simple question. Why should we do this? To do what? What task would such a one-time action solve? Would it change the course of the war? Would it have forced the Russians to flee? Would it have eliminated the need for weapons?” he wrote on Twitter.
Podolyak also noted that Ukraine approaches the war with ironclad mathematical logic, which means that long-range missiles are needed to destroy Russian logistics in the occupied territories, and various types of aircraft are needed to protect the sky and destroy Russian fortifications.
– These are the main components of successful counter-offensive operations and minimization of losses,” Podoliak summarized.
Earlier, The Washington Post reported that Ukraine had planned to strike Russia until February 24, but refused at the request of the United States.
