The Commander of the Special Operations Forces visited Bakhmut

Commander of the Special Operations Forces Viktor Khorenko visited Bakhmut in Donetsk region. The city remains the hottest point of the front.
This was reported by the press service of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that during the trip, the brigadier general familiarized himself with the current situation and talked with the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces units defending the settlement.
– Indeed, the situation in Bakhmut is difficult, but who else but you knows what needs to be done and how to act in the current conditions. Your work here proves once again that the Special Operations Forces are primarily about quality over quantity, – he told the defenders.
The commander of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine also emphasized the importance of the work of special-purpose groups and noted the professionalism of the operators of the Special Operations Forces.
Khorenko noted that despite the enemy’s superiority and massive attacks aimed at destroying city blocks, operators of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine strike the enemy at key areas, destroy enemy personnel and perform a number of other tasks, hindering the advance of Russian troops.
Earlier, the commander of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, named five reasons why the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to defend Bakhmut.
