Starting in August, Germany will be ready to provide Ukraine with ammunition for the Gepard self-propelled guns – Scholz
From approximately August, Ukraine can expect to receive ammunition for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated this during a dialogue with citizens in Bendorf near Koblenz.
At the same time, he noted that the production of ammunition is being adjusted, but this process will continue for some time. Scholz also emphasized that Ukraine should not attack the territory of the Russian Federation with equipment provided by Germany.
– Other Western countries, which supply Ukraine with weapons against a Russian attack, have also developed these rules. With all the necessary help, everything must be done to prevent a war between Russia and NATO, – he says.
We will remind that in March Scholz promised that Germany would increase the production of ammunition to support Ukraine.
