One house was destroyed, almost 40 more – without windows: what is known about the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of May 3, Russian troops struck twice at Zaporizhzhia’s civilian infrastructure.

Updated at 09:30. The houses of one of the private sectors of the city came under fire.

As a result of the attack, one house was completely destroyed. Two more have severe damage.

About 40 have broken windows and damaged roofs.

– Thanks God, there were no victims or injured, – said Anatoliy Kurtiev, secretary of the city council.

The city’s emergency and rescue service and volunteers have been working at the site since night.

We will remind that on the night of May 3, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, called on the residents of the region to stay in safe places until the end of the air alert and to maintain informational silence – not to distribute photo and video materials in order not to help the enemy adjust their fire.
