The Ukrainian Armed Forces pushed the Russians back to a distance of 250m to 1.5km: Cherevatyi on the situation around Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces pushed back the Russian occupiers to a distance of 250 metres to 1.5 km.
This was stated by the spokesperson for the Eastern Military Group, Serhiy Cherevaty, on the air of the United News telethon.
– “As a result of counter-offensive attacks by our units, the enemy was pushed back to a distance of 250 metres to 1.5 km. Our defensive operation continues to be successful and achieves one of the main goals – to wear down the enemy’s combat capabilities. In addition to combat losses, the moral and psychological state of the occupiers is declining, and there are moments of panic,” he said.
Cherevaty added that Yevhen Prygozhyn has no opportunity to replenish the personnel of the Wagner PMC.
Regular Russian troops are involved in the fighting, and their fighters are “completely demoralised and do not understand what they are fighting for”.
Earlier, the advance of Ukrainian defenders near Bakhmut was confirmed by Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Malyar.
According to her, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not lost a single position in the city this week.
