The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar reported that the situation in Bakhmut and the outskirts of the city remains very difficult.
According to her, despite all the difficulties, our troops managed to advance for several days. All this is thanks to the extraordinary capabilities and professionalism of our military.
The Russian occupiers are not changing their goals – they are moving their assault troops to the outskirts of Bakhmut.

Previously, ISW analysts reported that Ukrainian troops continued counterattacks in the Bakhmut direction and were able to occupy new positions. As of May 13, the Defense Forces have liberated 16.85 square kilometers in the Bakhmut area.
