The Russian occupiers on the left bank of the Dnieper abandoned people to their own devices, did not issue warnings, did not provide evacuation and, worst of all, did not allow international organizations to open humanitarian corridors to save people.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk stated this on the air of the telethon in the comments of host Yana Brenzei.

– People are saving themselves… On the eve of the planned Russian blow-up of the Kakhovskaya HPP, they took away all watercraft from people, that is, actually dooming them to the probable consequences, – she emphasized.

Vereshchuk does not know whether international organizations are currently negotiating with the Russians regarding rescuing people from the disaster zone, but it is known for certain that the UN and the Red Cross appealed, but were refused.

Watching now

Intercepts of the occupiers’ conversations, released by the Security Service of Ukraine, indicate that the Kakhovskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) was blown up by a sabotage group of Russian troops.
