The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct both defensive and offensive actions, with partial success.
Andriy Kovalev, the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told about this on the air of the telethon.
– Where Ukrainian soldiers are defending, not a single position has been lost. Offensive actions are ongoing in the Berdyansk, Mariupol and Bakhmut directions, – he emphasized.
According to him, fighting is taking place in the Makarivka area in the Berdyansk direction, in the Mariupol direction – in the vicinity of Novodanilivka and Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
– In the Bakhmut direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted assault operations in the area of Rozdolivka, Krasnopolivka, and Berkhivka-Yagidny, and were successful here, – Kovalev added.
