The Verkhovna Rada appeals to the international community to prevent a catastrophe at Zaporizhzhya NPP

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted an appeal to the international community to prevent a nuclear disaster at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and to counteract nuclear blackmail by the Russian Federation.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The Rada asks to apply stricter restrictive measures and sanctions to the Russian nuclear industry and military-industrial complex.
In particular, the Ukrainian parliament appealed to the UN, IAEA, EU, OSCE, NATO, Council of Europe and their parliamentary assemblies, parliaments and governments of foreign countries to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, expand military, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, and join the effective development of mechanisms to guarantee peace and security in Europe.
Earlier, the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that the Russian occupiers had completed preparations for a terrorist attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
