The Russian Federation is “sowing” fields with mines to deter the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces – British intelligence

In recent weeks, Russian occupation forces have perfected tactics aimed at slowing Ukrainian armored counter-offensive operations in the south of the country, British Ministry of Defense intelligence reports on Twitter.
– This approach is based on Russia’s very intensive use of anti-tank mines. In some areas, the density of minefields suggests that it probably used far more mines than its military doctrine dictates, – the intelligence summary said.
According to intelligence, the occupiers also tried to strike Ukrainian armored vehicles with kamikaze drones, helicopters and artillery, but this tactic had some success only in the early stages of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces.
British intelligence officers say that Russian forces continue to “suffer from key weaknesses, particularly overstretched and short artillery ammunition”.
