The Armed Forces of Ukraine restrained the offensive of the Russian Federation in the Avdiivka region and repelled all attacks near Maryinka
Ukrainian defenders repulse the attacks of the Russian invaders in the East and continue the offensive in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions.
In particular, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that the Russian invaders tried to advance in the area south of Novoselyvskyi, Luhansk region, in the Kupiansk direction.
However, the Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly held the defense – they repelled all enemy attacks.
On the Lymansk direction, the Russian occupiers, with the support of aviation, tried the day before to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas west of Novovodyanyi and south of Dibrova, Luhansk region, but in vain.
Under heavy fire from aviation and artillery, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Orihovo-Vasylivka and Bohdanivka settlements of the Donetsk region in the Bakhmut direction.
At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to advance to the south and north of Bakhmut, entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.
The defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Avdiivka district of the Donetsk region in the Avdiiv direction.
Under enemy artillery fire, the Defense Forces repulsed all attacks of the Russian Federation in the area of Maryinka in the direction of the same name.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas, the Russian army is using all its forces to prevent the advance of Ukrainian troops.
The defense forces, on the other hand, continue offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, entrench themselves at the reached boundaries, inflict artillery fire on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
