Hodges names weapons that will force Russian Black Sea Fleet to flee Crimea
The Ukrainian Defence Forces are trying to make the occupied Crimea unusable for the Russian military, and for this purpose Ukraine needs long-range weapons.
This was stated by the former commander of US forces in Europe, retired General Ben Hodges.
He noted that it would be wise for the US to provide Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles.
Hodges stressed that the ATACMS missiles would force Russia’s Black Sea Fleet to relocate from occupied Crimea to Novorossiysk.
– Ukrainian forces are working to make Crimea unusable for Russian troops. It would be wise if we helped them with ATACMS and so on. The Black Sea Fleet will be forced to relocate to Novorossiysk,” he wrote on Twitter.
By the way, the importance of providing Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles was also discussed by the editor-in-chief of the Defense Express, Oleg Katkov, who noted that these weapons are capable of destroying Russian air bases.
