Occupants withdraw from positions south of Andriivka – General Staff

Ukrainian defence forces forced the Russian occupiers to withdraw from their positions south of Andriivka in the Bakhmut sector.
On 2 August, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the results of the Ukrainian military’s offensive south of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast.
In addition, the occupiers tried in vain to regain their lost positions north-west of Klishchiyivka and Kurdyumivka.
– Heavy fighting continues,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasises.
In the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also continue to advance, consolidating their positions.
Meanwhile, the enemy is putting up a strong resistance, moving units and bringing in reserves, suffering significant losses in personnel, weapons and equipment.
