As of today, Ukrenergo’s repair teams have restored 70-80% of the power grids.

This was stated by Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, CEO of the National Energy Company Ukrenergo, in a commentary to Fakty ICTV.

He noted that it is simply impossible to restore all power grids and repair all the damage caused by Russian missile strikes by 100% in such a short time.

– “It is simply impossible to restore the entire power grid completely, 100%, in such a short period of several months after the missile attacks. However, we have completed about 70-80% of our plans to prepare the trunk power grids for the autumn and winter period. Of course, we continue to do our job,” he said.

Kudrytskyi noted that since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukrenergo has commissioned two facilities from scratch.

– “We put one overhead line, which is very important, strategically important, into operation last year. We built another facility from scratch and completed it this year, which gave us the opportunity to switch on the power grid line connecting the Ukrainian power system and Poland,” added the CEO of Ukrenergo.

As a reminder, Ukrenergo urged not to get rid of generators, but rather to take care of their technical condition and stock up on additional fuel.
