Partners did not set any demands to negotiate with Russia – Danilov

National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has said that the allies are not putting pressure on Ukraine to hold peace talks with Russia.
He said this in an interview with la Repubblica newspaper.
Danilov denied the journalist’s claim that the partners were allegedly trying to persuade Kyiv to negotiate an end to the war and asked what scenario they were proposing.
– Reports of this alleged pressure have not been confirmed. They are only available on the Internet. I don’t know, maybe it’s the work of the Russian troll army, but our partners did not set any demands to negotiate,” he said.
According to the National Security and Defence Council secretary, Ukraine will solve this problem on its own and there are no negotiations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
– Russia must be destroyed like a modern-day Carthage. We cannot leave the enemy behind,” Danilov added.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine would be able to negotiate with Russia after the withdrawal of occupation troops from our lands. At the same time, Kyiv rules out the possibility of dialogue with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
