What rockets failed to shoot down during the attack on August 15 – Ignat said

During the night attack on August 15, air defense forces, unfortunately, failed to shoot down Kh-22 cruise missiles launched by the enemy from long-range Tu-22M3 aircraft.
– As you know, these missiles attack on a ballistic trajectory, – Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, explained on the air of the telethon.
According to him, tonight the Russian Federation used air and sea-based cruise missiles.
– Tu-22M3 aircraft from two base airfields struck with Kh-22 missiles directly in the Donetsk region, in the Kramatorsk region. Then there were launches from the Caspian region. Tu-95 planes already struck with Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles. About 20 such rockets were fired over the entire territory of Ukraine. We managed to destroy 16 out of 24 cruise missiles that we can shoot down by conventional means, – he clarified.
Also, Ignat emphasized, launches of S-300 and S-400 missiles were recorded in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
On the night of August 15, the Russian Federation fired 28 air and sea-based cruise missiles at Ukraine , including 4 Kh-22 from six Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft, 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles from 11 strategic aircraft, and 4 Kalibrs.
