Russia does have a scenario for a provocation at the Kursk nuclear power plant. The question is whether the Kremlin regime will give the order to implement it.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, said this on the air of the United News telethon.

– “Such scenarios have been precisely developed and prepared for implementation in the aggressor country by its terrorist military and political leadership,” he said.

Yusov reminded that the regime of dictator Vladimir Putin is not new to the practice of terror against its own population and civilian objects.

Watching now

According to the GUR representative, the Kremlin may be planning a provocation at the Kursk NPP to increase the level of mobilisation, “its own internal political processes and support processes”.

– Perhaps also to facilitate the preparatory implementation of mobilisation measures in the country… This scenario, its development, is not a story of today. This plan has been around for a long time. And the question now is the final decision and the command – whether and when it will be given,” he stressed.

Yusov pointed out that the occupiers are usually unable to calculate the consequences of such terrorist attacks. According to him, the racists “could not fully foresee the consequences of the explosion and destruction of the Kakhovka dam”.

The GUR representative added that the consequences of the provocation at the Kursk NPP will be felt primarily by the Russian population.

– Therefore, the question to the population of the Russian Federation is: what measures are they ready to take to counteract such intentions of the people who usurped power, or to continue to endure and just watch the events unfold, saying that “everything is going according to plan”, Yusov concluded.

Reference. The Kursk Nuclear Power Plant is located in the city of Kurchatov (Kursk Region, Russia), 40 km from Kursk. The plant consists of four power units with a total capacity of 4 GW.

Recently, the Centre of National Resistance warned that Russians may be planning a provocation at the Kursk NPP and are preparing to evacuate the local population. The CNR published relevant documents to support this.
